Specialty Aquarium is a 100% Australian owned small business.

We have been involved in the Aquarium Industry since 1992. We began freighting fish Australia wide in 1997 supplying retail shops, wholesalers and the public.

We take the extra time needed and carefully pack fish for shipping.  Customers regularly thank us for the care used in packaging fish.  We at Specialty Aquarium always place the welfare of livestock as our top priority. we pack using far larger bags with more water than our competitors, which means greatly reduced stress, and healthy, active fish on arrival. We use a greatly reduced stocking density, insulation inside the boxes, and fill the fish bags with pure oxygen to ensure your fish arrive in perfect, healthy condition. We have access to top quality Australian produced fish including exclusive access to the full inventory of the largest specialist Cichlid breeder in Australia.
 

We have our own quarantine facilities on-site. All our fish go into quarantine before being offered for sale. This means that the fish are properly conditioned, treated and are healthy and eating well before being offered for sale.

Through online ordering we supply fish to customers throughout much of QLD and NSW. In addition, we distribute quality aquarium equipment and accessories Australia-wide.
